“SET IN CONCRETE” - DROOG DESIGN 2008
“Set in concrete” is composed by a concrete pedestal of 300 kg, a teapot and two cups out of production from the Royal Maastricht Sphinx company, four plates, all trapped in concrete pedestals. “Set in concrete” is a limited edition of five pieces for Droog Design, and it is exhibited at Droog Design Gallery,76 Greene Street, New York.

“CLOCK INLAYS” - HIDDEN COLLECTION
DROOG DESIGN 2009
As a starting point of this project we chose from V&D store-catalogue a small and cheap house clock, but then we decided to work not really with the object itself, but with its packaging.
On a conceptual level packaging represents the imago of the object, the surface, and the representation. So, what we are really looking for when we buy something: our desire to posses the image instead of the real object.

In the middle of the table a box is preserved under the surface.
Raising the box its inlayed décor is set against the industrial assemblage of OSB wood...
